Save quizzes, words, diary entries and videos to your library

From the widget's Tools tab you can save a quiz at the current moment, a word with its caption line, a diary entry, and the video itself to a learning path or a collection. Each one needs a connected account and is kept in your account, with the video's title and address.

Signed out, each section shows how to connect instead.

Quiz at this moment

Under Quiz at this moment, write a Question and its Answer, then press Save quiz. It is saved as a flashcard.

When you play past that moment in the same video, the video pauses and the question appears. Press Show answer, then I knew it or Not yet, which grade the card the same way the Flashcards page does. No quizzes on this video turns them off for this visit. Each moment asks once per visit, and seeking past it does not ask.

Save a word

Type one Word under Save a word and press Look up. Up to three meanings appear. Press Save word, and it is saved as a flashcard with the caption line on screen as its example.

The word is looked up at Wiktionary. Only the word is sent.

Diary entry

Pick a Mood (Happy, Inspired, Calm, Thoughtful, Sad or Frustrated), write What this moment meant to you, and press Save to diary. The entry is a bookmark in the folder "Diary", tagged with the mood, so you can edit it in Bookmarks too.

Learning path and Collection

Under Learning path or Collection, pick one of yours and press Add this video. A video that is already there is refused. Make paths and collections on the website first; until you do, the widget says there are none yet.

A learning-path video is marked done by itself once Watch History shows you watched it, which means you got past 90% of the video and played at least half of it along the way. Skipping to the end does not count. Watch History is off until you turn it on in Settings, on the Privacy & Data tab.

Search your library

Search your library is in the widget's Your library menu and in the popup's library grid. It opens the website's search across your notes, bookmarks and diary entries, flashcards and saved words, transcripts, Watch Later, Watch History, collections and learning paths. Type 2 to 100 characters. You get up to 10 results for each kind, each with a link to its moment.
