Add looks and effects, and zoom the picture
Looks & overlays adds color grades, art looks, sharpening, a vignette, film grain, a text overlay and blurred regions to the video. It sits on the widget's Filters tab, which needs a connected account, like the rest of that tab. Zoom & fit is on the View tab and needs no account.
Every effect changes only the picture on the page, never the video file. Some streaming sites block effects on protected video, and the extension does not claim they work there.
Looks & overlays
Open the widget's Filters tab and find Looks & overlays.

A blurred region stays until you remove it with Remove blurred regions or the video changes. No video pixels are read. The blur happens on the page.
Effects settings
Settings, Video Features tab, Effects holds the finer options: Vignette strength, Grain strength, Moving grain, Overlay text and Text corner (Top left, Top right, Bottom left or Bottom right). Reset effects returns them to their defaults.
Effects work with Video filters and the Comfort tools at the same time, and they follow the video into fullscreen.
Zoom & fit
Open the widget's View tab and find Zoom & fit. No account needed.
- Press Zoom in or Zoom out. The zoom goes from 1x to 4x in quarter steps, and pinching on a trackpad works too.
- Use the four arrows to move the view left, up, down or right.
- Turn on Magnifier: follow the pointer and the zoomed part follows your mouse.
- Pick a Fit: Original, Fill (crop the bars), Stretch, 4:3, 16:9 or 21:9.
Back to the original picture resets it. Zoom works with rotate, mirror and flip, and Reset Transform leaves the zoom where it is. A new video starts at Original, and nothing here is stored.
Shortcuts
Two optional shortcuts start with no key: "Turn effects on or off" and "Blur a region of the video". Both need a connected account when pressed. Set them in Change a shortcut.
